According to AgriSA, the industry is going through the most as it has experienced large hectors of grazing being destroyed. The Northern Cape, Free State, North-West and Limpopo has experienced ravaging fires since August, which have also seen the loss of livestock including cattle and sheep. In Northern Cape, the wildfires were extinguished on Sunday by the rainfall that fell. All these takes place while the agricultural sector has experienced other adversities, including animal diseases and load shedding pushing costs way high.
